Shashini Gamage

Shashini Gamage earned her Bachelor of Laws (a Juris Doctor equivalent) from Faculty
of Law, University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. Prior to moving to the United States, she was
a licensed Attorney in Sri Lanka. Ms. Gamage completed her Master of Laws degree at
Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. She was admitted to the State Bar of California in
May 2025. Ms. Gamage also completed an undergraduate Legal Studies Program at
Illinois State University, Normal, Illinois. Ms. Gamage joined Cannon and Nelms in June
2025. Prior to joining Cannon and Nelms, Ms. Gamage got hands-on experience at a
Plaintiff’s law firm, and a national law firm where she assisted senior partners in
defending clients in various types of litigation matters. Ms. Gamage has over seven
years of Legal Research and Analysis experience. Ms. Gamage has a background in
English Literature, Information and Communication Technology, Accounting and
Finance, and French.

During her leisure times, Ms. Gamage loves spending time with her husband, her family,
and her cat Josie. She also enjoys cooking, reading non-fiction books, travelling, and
listening to good old music.
