Kayvon Newmen

Kayvon Newmen earned his J.D. from Western State College of Law—following in the footsteps
of his mother—after completing his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Santa
Barbara, where he majored in Philosophy with a concentration in ethics and public policy.

Kayvon has extensive experience representing clients in a wide range of matters, including
premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, general negligence actions, and complex civil
disputes. He is known for his clear communication with both clients and opposing counsel,
meticulous legal research, strategic handling of discovery, and effective negotiation style. Prior
to joining Cannon & Nelms in February 2023, Kayvon represented plaintiffs in personal injury
matters, giving him a well-rounded perspective on both sides of litigation.

Over the course of his career, Kayvon has achieved favorable outcomes through motions,
negotiated settlements, and successful mediations. He is committed to providing hands-on,
efficient, and results-driven representation tailored to each client’s objectives.

Outside of work, Kayvon enjoys traveling, discovering new restaurants, golfing, and spending
time with his fiancée, family, and friends.
